After the attack: Why the polar bear is looking for new hunting grounds

Deep Sea’s team is back home after exciting and rewarding weeks in Greenland.

Their eyewitness account of how they were attacked by a polar bear is dramatic — but more important is to understand why the bears are seeking new hunting grounds. The ongoing, rapid climate change has forced them in search of food further south than normal. Our co-workers were becoming one of the hungry bears’ dinner meals. Hear their thoughts just a few hours after the attack.
